Akihabara runs on electronics, anime and maid cafes, and we were not leaving without trying one.
Maid cafes sound dodgy if all you've heard is the name. They aren't adult entertainment. The ones we've tried are hyper cute and nothing else: iced drinks, a small stage, animal ears handed out at the door, and a kids menu on the wall.
