Glasgow

Glasgow in July 2008: George Square bus stops, a walk along the Clyde past Bell's Bridge and the Clyde Arc, and the Armadillo on the waterfront.

In July 2008 we gave Glasgow a summer weekend and spent most of it beside the River Clyde, where the city keeps its shipbuilding past and its shiniest new architecture on the same stretch of water.

The next morning we swapped the city for sea air and caught a boat out to the abbey island of Inchcolm in the Firth of Forth.
