HKG is one of those airports we keep passing through, so we've slowly worked our way round the Priority Pass lounges in Terminal 1. Some people call this one the best of the lot, so we went to see whether that holds up.
The Sapphire Lounge by The Club sits in Terminal 1's West Hall near Gate 40, open daily from 6am to midnight, and it takes Priority Pass, LoungeKey and a handful of premium cards. It's tucked away from the crowds, which is half the appeal, and it's modern and calm with a decent spread of food and drink.
Best in Asia is a big claim for any lounge. Best place in the West Hall to lose an hour before a flight, though, we'll happily sign off on.
