Geoje is Korea's second-largest island, hanging off the south coast in a scatter of smaller islands that make up Hallyeohaesang National Park. In March 2024 we drove down to its southern shore and found the correct way to enjoy it: sit down and look at it.
Bring a car, follow the coastal road, and budget far more time than the map suggests: every second bend has a view like this. Geoje slots easily into a southern route with Busan and Changwon.
